The BM in Music Performance at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music combines intensive applied study of Western classical music with UCLA’s academics. Students study individually with world-class performers/teachers, participate in large and small ensembles, and take rigorous coursework in theory, history, and analysis. Frequent performance opportunities, open regardless of class standing, and the small, collaborative program structure provide tailored individual attention.
