UCLA Samueli’s ECE undergraduate curriculum builds a strong foundation in mathematics and science, then spans three core areas—signals and systems, circuits and embedded systems, and physical/wave electronics. Students complete six core ECE courses, three technical breadth courses (12 units) from approved lists, at least 12 units of major field electives (≥8 units upper-division ECE), and a two-term ECE capstone design sequence (8 units).
