UCLA’s Department of Integrative Biology and Physiology offers the B.S. in Physiological Science within the Division of Life Sciences. The major provides an education spanning multiple levels of biological organization—from genes and gene networks, to molecular and cellular mechanisms, tissue and organ function, and whole-system human physiology. The curriculum includes foundational Life Sciences core courses and upper-division physiology electives that allow students to tailor the program toward goals such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, optometry, biotechnology, public health, teaching, or biomedical research.
