UCLA’s Department of European Languages & Transcultural Studies (ELTS) offers a B.A. track focused on French and Francophone studies. The major develops advanced proficiency in French; competency in one area of the experimental humanities; deep knowledge of European culture and history with particular expertise in France; analytical skills in literature and film; and strong oral and writing abilities.
