UCLA’s Department of Classics in the Division of Humanities offers a B.A. in Classical Civilization focusing on the study of ancient Greece and Rome and their political, social, artistic, and intellectual legacy across more than two millennia. The interdisciplinary curriculum spans language, literature, religion, mythology, philosophy, political history, cultural studies, digital humanities/VR, archaeology, art, and film. The major builds breadth of knowledge and rigorous skills in writing, critical reading, and analysis that are valuable for careers and graduate study.
