This dual-degree program provides a rigorous foundation in both engineering and agricultural sciences. Students begin in the College of ACES for two years, then complete advanced engineering coursework in the Grainger College of Engineering over the next three years. The curriculum addresses the application of engineering principles to agriculture, food systems, energy, natural resources, and the environment with a special focus on sustainability, environmental protection, and biological interfaces. The program’s six concentrations allow for tailored study. Graduates are prepared for careers in industry, consulting, government, and research, and the program is ABET-accredited.
