The Bachelor of Science in Crop Sciences program at the College of Agricultural, Consumer & Environmental Sciences (ACES), University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, prepares students to address global food, fuel, and environmental challenges. The program combines plant science, ecology, environmental issues, economics, and agricultural management, and allows students to specialize through concentrations (Agroecology, Crop Agribusiness, Horticultural Food Systems). Students gain hands-on experience, access leading research facilities, and benefit from small class sizes taught largely by faculty. Over 100 research positions are available, supporting career development and preparation for leadership in agricultural innovation and sustainability.
