This combined 4+1 program at Purdue University's College of Pharmacy allows students to complete both a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) and a Master of Public Health (MPH) in five years. Students apply to an MPH concentration (Family and Community Health, Biostatistics, or Epidemiology) during the spring of their junior year. Up to 15 MPH credits are taken while still an undergraduate, counting toward both degrees (senior year). After completing the BSPS in the fourth year, students continue the MPH coursework, typically completing the master’s degree in one additional year, which includes a practicum and capstone. The program offers significant experiential learning and prepares graduates for diverse roles in industry, government, academia, or further professional study. Note: The BSPS is not a professional pharmacy degree and does not lead to pharmacist licensure.
