The MS in Human-Animal Interaction (Comparative Pathobiology) at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine focuses on evaluating both the beneficial and adverse effects of interactions between humans and animals, including animal-assisted intervention, service animals, dog bite prevention, zoonotic diseases, and broken bonds between humans and animals. The program prepares students for careers in research, teaching, public engagement, and service in related disciplines. It attracts students from diverse backgrounds such as animal behavior, biology, sociology, veterinary medicine, psychology, public health, and epidemiology.
