The Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and Physiology at Purdue University provides training in the study of the function of living organisms, their organs, systems, and especially the nervous system. The program prepares students for careers in education, research, industry, medicine, veterinary medicine, health professions, and more. Coursework covers subcellular through whole organism biology, with integration of physical and chemical principles. Students receive hands-on laboratory and data analysis experience, and electives allow for specialization in neurobiology, physiology, molecular biology, and related fields. The major is housed in the College of Science in West Lafayette.
