The Master of Construction Management (MCM) at the University of Florida's College of Design, Construction and Planning (M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management) provides advanced technical and managerial knowledge to prepare graduates for leadership in the construction industry. The program is STEM-designated and blends rigorous academic curriculum with hands-on experience. Areas of specialization include virtual design and construction (BIM, AR/VR), sustainability, automation, jobsite safety, and project management. The MCM is a non-thesis, 30-credit curriculum designed to accommodate graduates both with and without construction backgrounds (with leveling courses required for those without). Students become part of a global network and engage with industry-embedded faculty and facilities. The Rinker School has pioneered construction management education since 1948.
