The Master of Science in Health Education & Behavior (HEB) at the University of Florida, College of Health and Human Performance, is a flexible 30-credit graduate program available both on-campus and 100% online. Students can choose thesis, non-thesis, project in lieu of thesis, or a pre-professional health science track, depending on career goals. The curriculum covers areas defined by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC), such as assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation/research, advocacy, communication, leadership, and professionalism. Graduates are eligible to sit for the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®) examination.
