The Combined BS/MS in Health Education & Behavior at the University of Florida allows qualified students to earn both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Health Education & Behavior in an accelerated format. Students complete 12 credits of graduate coursework during their junior and senior undergraduate years, which count toward both degrees. The program prepares health education specialists for careers in public health agencies, non-profit organizations, patient care, and private industry, with emphasis on diversity, health literacy, health promotion, and culturally appropriate health education. The curriculum covers topics such as public health, epidemiology, health communication, exercise therapy, drug and sexual health education, obesity determinants, and more. Students gain fieldwork and internship experience and are prepared for advanced careers or further doctoral/professional programs.
