The Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies at the University of Florida integrates broad interdisciplinary perspectives, critically examining gender and its intersections with race, class, sexuality, and other social systems. The major requires 30 credits of coursework in Women's Studies core and elective courses (24 must be upper division). Students can pursue a generalist degree or specialize in health, international perspectives, race, or sexuality. The program prepares students for careers or further study in social service, law, health, education, policy, and more. Double majoring is encouraged, and the program supports honors research.
