The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine's Master of Science in Anatomy Education (MSAE) is an intensive one-year full-time graduate program aimed at providing in-depth training in clinically based human anatomy and related basic sciences, with a strong focus on modern educational methods. The curriculum includes immersive cadaver-based dissection, lectures, small-group work, courses in physiology and histology, and pedagogical training through educational theory and practice. Graduates are prepared for teaching positions in anatomy (esp. at the community college level), educational support roles, or further study (e.g., medicine, PhD programs). The program is primarily on-campus in Baltimore. International students are eligible to apply but are not eligible for F or J visa sponsorship.
