The Master of Science in Education with a concentration in School Administration and Supervision at the Johns Hopkins University School of Education is designed for certified teachers and school personnel seeking principal or supervisory roles in K-12 school settings. The program aligns with National Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (PSEL) and the Maryland Instructional Leadership Framework. It prepares department chairs, team leaders, and curriculum coordinators for advanced leadership through coursework in management, school law, policy, curriculum, systemic change, professional development, and technology integration. The capstone consists of a seminar and a supervised internship in school administration, focusing on hands-on experience and mentorship.
