The Master of Science in Education Policy at Johns Hopkins University School of Education is a graduate program designed to prepare leaders with advanced skills in analyzing, designing, and shaping effective, evidence-based education policies. The curriculum covers complex federal and state education regulations, drafting policy, financial analysis, and addressing educational inequities. The program is delivered primarily online, except for a required one-week in-person seminar in Washington, D.C. in the Summer term. Students may also opt for a three-credit experiential internship. This 33- to 36-credit cohort-based program requires a bachelor's degree for admission, a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0, CV, essay, two letters of recommendation, transcripts, and an $80 application fee. The GRE is not required. The program does not sponsor F-1 visas.
