This innovative MSc program is aimed at creative bioscience students with an entrepreneurial spirit who want to address future bioscience challenges using advanced skills in communication, innovation, and commercialisation. Students learn to ideate, create, prototype, and pitch sustainable solutions to real-world bioscience problems by integrating knowledge of biotechnologies with fields such as AI and big data. The curriculum, designed with expert and industry input, features hands-on access to Imperial’s Advanced Hackspace, a strong element of peer collaboration, and real-world work placements in startups, biotech companies, science communication, or technology transfer. Graduates are prepared for careers ranging from founding startups to working in biotechnology enterprises, communication, policy, or commercialisation.
