The BSc Natural Sciences degree at Durham University’s Faculty of Science is a highly flexible, multidisciplinary program that allows students to combine science with non-science subjects. Students must major in at least one science subject (from Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology) but can also include other disciplines such as Business or Philosophy. There are Joint Honours and Combined Honours (self-designed) routes. The curriculum develops broad scientific knowledge, critical thinking, and skills tailored to individual career aspirations. Students can adjust their subject combinations after the first year. Graduates are well-prepared for diverse careers such as research, consulting, technology, finance, or further academic study.
