The BA (Hons) Accounting and Management at Durham University Business School provides a comprehensive foundation in accounting, finance, and management. The curriculum covers topics such as financial accounting, management accounting, principles of taxation, ethics, finance, and quantitative methods in the first year. Students further develop expertise through modules in reporting, assurance, operations management, innovation management, entrepreneurship, taxation, and more in subsequent years. In the third year, a dissertation and research-focused modules allow students to specialise further. The program is professionally aligned and can provide exemptions from ACA, ACCA, and CIMA examinations if relevant modules are chosen.
