The BA (Hons) Linguistics at the University of York provides an in-depth study of the science of language, including its structure, evolution, and use. Students engage with core areas such as phonetics, phonology, syntax, semantics, and sociolinguistics, as well as elective modules in multilingualism, language acquisition, variation, and experimental approaches.
