The BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences in Biophysical Science at the University of York, School of Natural Sciences, is an interdisciplinary undergraduate program designed to provide a deep understanding of the interface between biology, chemistry, and physics. The course equips students with fundamental and applied knowledge in biophysical methods, analysis of biological systems through quantitative and physical approaches, and experience with modern scientific tools for understanding life processes. Students examine molecular structures, experimental biophysical techniques (such as spectroscopy, microscopy, and molecular modelling), and learn to tackle current biological challenges with advanced physical science skills.
