The Bachelor of Music and Sound Design at UTS, offered by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, is designed to develop skilled practitioners in music and sound design for the digital sound industry. It uniquely blends music, sound, and screen disciplines—incorporating practical and theoretical training across songwriting, music production, audio engineering, podcasting, and composition for film, games, and digital media. Students graduate with a professional portfolio, extensive hands-on experience in industry-standard studios, and exposure to critical business skills for creative careers. This program is highly practical, leverages input from industry experts, and enables internship opportunities. Graduates are equipped for diverse careers in music, television, advertising, film, and digital content creation. Note: From 2026, this course will be retitled as the Bachelor of Creative Production in Music and Sound Design.
