HKU Business School’s Master of Finance is a one‑year, full‑time interdisciplinary programme that integrates statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering and computer programming with finance, accounting, economics and law. The curriculum is comprehensive and quantitative, offering multiple learning streams and an option of double concentration, supported by access to first‑class faculty, alumni mentors, internships, and professional partnerships with CFA Institute and GARP to align learning with industry practice and CFA preparation. The programme structure includes fundamental core courses aligned with the CFA curriculum (quantitative analysis, financial statement analysis, economics, asset valuation), advanced core courses, two stream core courses chosen from Corporate Finance, Financial Engineering, Risk Management, or Financial Technology, plus electives to total twelve courses.
