The MNurs programme at the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine (HKU School of Nursing) prepares bachelor’s-prepared nurses for advanced practice aligned with rapid healthcare changes in Hong Kong. Students select a study track under two concentrations—Population Health and Health Care Management or Advanced Clinical Practice—and complete core, concentration and specialty courses plus electives and a capstone experience (Translational Nursing Research with a Dissertation or Clinical Research Project) to build competencies in evidence-based practice and translation of scientific evidence into clinical and public health innovations. The programme is recognised by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong as a local clinical master programme under the Voluntary Scheme on Advanced and Specialised Nursing Practice.
