This new HKU Faculty of Engineering joint scheme admits students under a single code (JS6377) to complete a chosen BEng major (Civil, Computer, Electrical, Electronic, Data & Systems, or Mechanical Engineering) and then proceed to the MSc(Eng) in Artificial Intelligence in Engineering. The program targets interdisciplinary engineers trained in core engineering plus modern AI/ML and automation methodologies for safety, reliability, and productivity across engineering industries. A scholarship of HKD120,000 is offered upon enrolling in the MSc year. Students may freely opt out of the scheme and graduate with the standalone BEng if they wish.
