HKU’s Faculty of Law and Faculty of Science jointly offer a 5‑year integrated double degree in which students complete a full science major alongside the professional core of the HKU LLB. The curriculum combines foundational and advanced science coursework, HKU Common Core and language requirements, and the core subjects required for the LLB (e.g., Contract, Tort, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Criminal Law, Land Law, Equity & Trusts, Commercial Law, Business Associations, Legal Research and Writing, Introduction to Legal Theory). Students graduate with two bachelor’s degrees (BSc and LLB). There is an optional Year‑4 exit pathway for students who, after Year 2, decide not to pursue both degrees and take the BSc only.
