The Bachelor of Science in Computational Data Science programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Faculty of Engineering is designed to equip students with comprehensive mathematical, technical, and analytical skills for data-driven decision-making. Students gain knowledge and practical experience in high-performance parallel and distributed computing, advanced statistical methods, big data manipulation, machine learning, data mining, and communication of data insights. The curriculum includes foundational training in programming, data structures, algorithms, and operating systems and offers four specialization streams: Computational Data Science, Computational Physics, Computational Medicine, and Computational Social Science.
