The Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programme at the Faculty of Law, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK LAW) is a selective, full-time four-year undergraduate programme designed to provide students with a globally-oriented, comprehensive, and practice-ready legal education. The curriculum immerses students in compulsory core legal subjects for the first two years, focusing on Foundations of Law, Public Law, and Obligations, and allows for specialization in the final two years with electives and options to pursue streams in Global Law or Chinese Law. The programme aims to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills while providing robust knowledge of both the common law tradition and the legal context of Hong Kong and China. Students may also opt for double degrees, such as Law and Translation or Law and Sociology, or join international dual-degree partnerships.
