The LLB–BA(Translation) Double Degree is jointly offered by the Faculty of Law and the Department of Translation at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). This highly flexible programme is designed to prepare students to qualify as practising lawyers while providing comprehensive training in translation and legal drafting skills, opening doors to careers in law, government, domestic and international NGOs, and language-related professions. Students earn a Bachelor of Laws in four years, plus an additional year for the Bachelor of Arts in Translation. If students opt out of the fifth year, they may graduate with the LLB degree and, subject to completing requirements, a Minor in Translation.
