The Bachelor of Social Science in Global Communication at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is a four-year undergraduate programme designed to develop global leaders in communication. It uniquely integrates communication theory, practical journalism/media production, and a guaranteed international exchange experience. Students begin with foundational media studies and production skills, participate in real-world journalism via 'Varsity' (the School’s English news magazine), experience a thematic overseas field trip in year two, and study one or two terms at a partner university abroad in year three.
