The Master of Corporate Governance (MCG) programme at Faculty of Business, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University aims to equip corporate administrators—including chief executive officers, directors, company secretaries, financial controllers, and similar roles—with a comprehensive knowledge and skills in corporate governance. Graduates will learn the importance of business ethics, best practices in governance, legal and regulatory insights, application of financial concepts, and contemporary issues in taxation and compliance. The curriculum covers both Hong Kong and PRC governance contexts, and fulfills requirements relevant for professional exemptions (such as the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators). Core and elective subjects include Corporate Governance, Corporate Law, Financial Analysis, Risk Management, Compliance, Ethics, Corporate Taxation, Securities Regulation, and Strategic China Tax Planning.
