The BSc (Hons) in Surveying at the Faculty of Construction and Environment, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University aims to develop all-around graduates equipped with fundamental knowledge and practical skills for the interdisciplinary professions of land management, real estate development, and construction project management. The curriculum integrates education in economics, finance, law, management, and technology, fostering a global mindset through exposure to international real estate and construction markets. Students begin with a common first year, then choose one of these disciplines: Building Surveying, General Practice Surveying, Planning and Development, Property and Facility Management, or Quantity Surveying. The program requires a total of 121 credits (plus 2 training credits), including general university requirement subjects, core surveying subjects, discipline-specific electives, a capstone project, and a work-integrated placement. Graduates are prepared for professional roles in surveying fields and leadership positions in the property and construction industries.
