The BA (Hons) in Chinese History and Culture is designed to blend traditional and modern perspectives, providing students with a thorough understanding of Chinese history and culture alongside crucial personal and professional skills. The curriculum emphasizes self-cultivation, cultural enrichment, communication proficiency, respect for the rule of law, social responsibility, and ethical business sense. Students start with a Common Year One curriculum within the Faculty of Humanities, selecting their major after their first year through a competitive ranking assessment. Graduates are equipped to contribute effectively to government, business, education, and society in Hong Kong, China, and globally. The medium of instruction is both Chinese (Putonghua) and English.
