The BSc (Hons) in Hotel and Tourism Management with Secondary Major in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IE) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University's School of Hotel and Tourism Management is a four-year multidisciplinary undergraduate program. Students receive comprehensive training in hotel, tourism, events and experience management, enhanced by a strong focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. The program blends theory and industry practice with a customer-service orientation, equipping graduates for rapid progression to management roles locally and globally. The curriculum incorporates discipline-specific subjects, free electives, professional development, and required work-integrated education. In the first year, all students follow a common curriculum before selecting the IE secondary major at the end of the year. Graduates develop customer focus, critical analysis, independence, communication, and leadership skills, and gain a global industry perspective. Starting from the 2025/26 academic year, a '2+2 Dual Programme' option with Modul University (Austria) is also available, resulting in dual awards from PolyU and MU.
