The Master of Philosophy in Education (Science Education) programme at the University of Macau is designed for postgraduate students aiming to develop advanced research and analytical skills in science education. The programme provides comprehensive foundational courses in contemporary educational issues, qualitative and quantitative research methods, and scientific pedagogy. It prepares graduates for doctoral studies or to lead science education in schools and higher education settings. All students must complete a research-based thesis and pass the oral thesis defense, cultivating the ability to innovate, critically assess educational practice and policy, and conduct rigorous scientific education research. Instruction is in both Chinese and English.
