The Master of Science in Microelectronics at the Institute of Microelectronics, University of Macau, is designed to train advanced engineers and research scholars for the microelectronics integrated circuits sector, focusing particularly on analog IC design. The program emphasizes practical engineering training through projects or internships, with optional tracks for project reporting or internship reporting. Graduates are equipped with industry-relevant knowledge and hands-on skills for careers in microelectronics companies, especially in China, Macao, Hong Kong, and the Greater Bay Area. Supported by UM’s State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI, the only one in its field in southern China, the program’s core objective is to fill the strategic talent gap recognized by national and regional industry needs.
