UCL Faculty of Medical Sciences delivers a fully online, flexible MSc that equips healthcare professionals to teach, supervise, lead and conduct research in health professions education. The curriculum addresses contemporary context, educational theory and practical teaching skills; students develop as teachers, educational supervisors and mentors, critically analyse theory/policy/practice, and undertake either an empirical dissertation or a desk‑based report. The programme offers five routes (General, Leadership, Research, Primary Care, Assessment) and allows curated module choice across PGCert, PGDip and MSc levels, with prerequisite research-proposal or literature‑review modules if progressing to the MSc project.
