UCL Institute of Education’s Sociology of Education MA guides students through the latest theories, concepts and research in the sociology of education, examining political, social and cultural contexts of education policy and practice. The programme develops critical theoretical, methodological and analytical skills and encourages application of sociological research to professional educational contexts.
