UCL Institute of Education’s MA in Education, Health Promotion and International Development deepens understanding of concepts, theories and issues at the intersection of international development, education and sustainable health promotion, with a focus on wellbeing and social justice. Students identify key concepts in education, health promotion and development; develop skills to design, implement and evaluate health promotion initiatives; and critically reflect on research, policy and practice, particularly for low- and middle-income countries. The programme comprises 180 credits: two core modules (60 credits), two optional modules (60 credits), and a 60‑credit dissertation; delivery can be on campus, online (distance) or mixed mode (note: visa restrictions may limit distance/mixed options).
