UCL’s BEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering provides a broad foundation in electronic and electrical engineering with strong underpinnings in mathematics, physics and computer science, preparing students to design technologies from healthcare devices to global data networks, autonomous systems and renewable energy. The first two years share a common core across EEE programmes, with extensive project work (team-based Engineering Challenges and week-long Scenarios) and access to state-of-the-art labs; the final year includes an individual project and greater module choice. The degree forms part of UCL’s Integrated Engineering Programme, emphasizing interdisciplinary learning, design, and professional skills. The BEng is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) for partial fulfillment of the academic requirements for Chartered Engineer (CEng) registration.
