UCL’s Biomedical Engineering BEng is a three‑year undergraduate degree within the Faculty of Engineering Sciences that applies engineering principles and design to healthcare technologies, drawing on UCL’s Department of Medical Physics & Biomedical Engineering and strong links to major London teaching hospitals. The programme provides fundamentals in electronics, mechanics, mathematical modelling, physiology and medical instrumentation; offers IEP interdisciplinary options; and culminates in a final‑year individual project within world‑leading research groups. The first two years are identical to the MEng, allowing transfer up to the end of Year 2.
