The Bachelor of Science in Information Science offered by Cornell's Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science through the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) is an undergraduate program focused on understanding and designing the future of digital experiences. The curriculum combines technical coursework in programming, data science, and systems with studies in human behavior and the societal aspects of technology. Students complete five core courses, at least one concentration area, and three electives. The program emphasizes interdisciplinary learning, enabling students to blend technical skills with studies in areas such as user experience, networks, and information ethics. Research, leadership, and the flexibility to double major are strongly supported.
