The Bachelor of Arts (A.B.) at Princeton University's College of Liberal Arts is a four-year undergraduate degree grounded in the liberal arts tradition. Students are encouraged to explore a wide array of disciplines across the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and arts, while also pursuing a deep focus in one area of concentration (major). The curriculum prioritizes creativity, critical inquiry, and close faculty mentorship. All A.B. students undertake independent research culminating in a senior thesis, fostering skills in analysis, synthesis, and communication. The program also offers opportunities for interdisciplinary study and access to extensive academic resources and world-class faculty.
