The Master of Fine Arts in Dance at the College of Fine Arts, University of Arizona is a comprehensive 60-unit graduate program designed for artists focusing on choreography, performance, teaching, and research. The curriculum develops advanced skills in performance and/or choreography, with opportunities for interdisciplinary study and emphasis in a chosen area. Students train alongside a distinguished and diverse cohort, engage in a triple-track program (ballet, modern, and jazz), and culminate their studies with original choreography and a fully produced thesis concert. Graduates pursue careers in university teaching, K-12 education, choreography, dance company administration/directing, and professional performance.
