The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Cyber Operations at the University of Arizona—College of Information Science prepares students for careers in cyber-related fields spanning defense, law enforcement, and private industry. Designated by the National Security Agency as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO), the program features in-depth offensive and defensive cybersecurity content delivered via a state-of-the-art Cyber Virtual Learning Environment. Students choose from three technical emphases: Cyber Engineering, Defense & Forensics, and Cyber Law & Policy. The curriculum delivers both technical skills (programming, forensics, cyber defense, malware analysis, risk management, wireless networking, etc.) and interdisciplinary training (legal/policy aspects of cybersecurity).
