The Public Health Bachelor of Science with a Global Health emphasis at the Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, University of Arizona, provides comprehensive foundational and specialized coursework in public health with significant global focus. Students gain core competencies in epidemiology, sanitation, global food supplies, and public health leadership. The curriculum includes interactive fieldwork, experiential learning, and opportunities for study abroad and service-learning in resource-limited settings. Graduates are prepared for roles addressing public health challenges worldwide, such as disease prevention, clean water initiatives, disaster response, and promoting community health equity. The program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) through 2027.
