The Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at the University of Maryland College Park, housed within the College of Arts and Humanities and the School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies (TDPS), combines rigorous academic coursework with extensive hands-on experience in all aspects of theater production. Coursework covers the history, literature, and theory of theatre while offering practical training in performance, design and production, directing, stage management, and playwriting.
