The Bachelor of Science in Public Health Practice is an interdisciplinary program that combines core public health knowledge with social and behavioral science. Students develop skills to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate culturally-appropriate public health interventions and policies in diverse communities. The curriculum covers public/community health, foundational science, behavioral health, epidemiology, biostatistics, health electives, and culminates in a full-time, semester-long professional internship. Graduates are equipped to work in research, advocacy, health education, policy, community outreach, or continue to graduate studies.
