The Master of Advanced Study (MAS) in Data Science & Engineering at UC San Diego’s School of Computing, Information and Data Sciences (SCIDS), in collaboration with the Computer Science & Engineering Department and the San Diego Supercomputer Center, is a part-time, in-person degree designed for working professionals. The program offers comprehensive training in data science, including software programming, database management, advanced statistics, machine learning, and data visualization. The curriculum comprises 38 units: three foundational courses, six core courses, and a capstone team project.
